Words as Art

When
-

A fun and playful session on how words can become a work of art
Letters are lines and repeated shapes; they are also mutable. Building on their forms gives us opportunities to create words as symbols, similar to monogram design. Using your own name, we will embark on a unique investigation of relationships, making use of indirect methods to achieve graphic interest. Discover a mixture of effects using ink combined with other mediums.

Attendees should bring a ruler, a pencil, a fine liner pen (Micron is a good brand). Optional: a compass if you have one. A $10.00 materials fee is included in the registration.

Cost for the class is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. This cost includes the materials fee.

Discounted thanks to the Shallow Ford Foundation!
