The tax parcel IDs include 5886-66-4288, 5886-65-4975, 5886-65-7947, 5886-66-7263, 5886-66-0193,5886-56-8476 and 5886-56-4784. This property is located partially within the Lewisville Neighborhood Center Overlay and partially within the Lewisville Neighborhood Residential place type. The Planning Board reviewed this request at its regularly scheduled meeting Wednesday, December 10 2025 at 6:00 pm, and voted to recommend approval to the Town Council (4-2). The Town Council will consider this request and a final determination during its regularly scheduled meeting Thursday, February 12 2026 at 6:00 pm.
- L-116 Lewisville Fire Department: a general use rezoning application that accompanies an petition for annexation to rezone a parcel of land denoted by the Tax Parcel ID 5886-56-4784, located at 9420 Shallowford Rd, from Agricultural (AG-Forsyth County) to Agricultural (AG-Lewisville. The Planning Board reviewed this request at its regularly scheduled meeting Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 6:00 pm, and voted unanimously to recommend approval to the Town Council (5-0). The Town Council will consider this request and a final determination during its regularly scheduled meeting Thursday, March 12 2026 at 6:00 pm.

About: The Town of Lewisville, building on the work completed over the years in downtown Lewisville, has initiated the Great Wagon Road Planning and Design Project. The project will follow North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) policies and procedures. This multi-modal project will extend existing GWR and serve as a parallel facility to Shallowford Road to accommodate future traffic and improve connectivity. Two new side street connections will be added between Shallowford Road and GWR. Sidewalks and bike lanes are being added to both sides of the road, improving safety for pedestrians and bicyclists while maintaining the character of Lewisville.
