Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County is hosting hands-on visual arts classes and workshops led by professional art instructors, including free art activities geared toward youth and families. All Classes are FREE!

July 27-Je'wel, Mixed Media Self-Portrait Collages
Families will explore various materials that they will then use to create a mixed-media self-portrait collage. This is an opportunity for children ages 5-12 to turn ordinary objects into exciting works of art that represent who they are.

August 31-Pheobe Roberts, Acrylic Pour Class
Learn to create your unique piece of "fluid art", a painting technique that involves pouring paint onto a canvas without using a brush.

September 28-Phoebe Roberts, Acrylic Sunflower Painting
With acrylic paints, create your unique sunflower.

October 26-Issis Kelly, Marble Pumpkins
Learn how to create your own wonderful marble pumpkins, just in time for Halloween

November 23-Issis Kelly, Holiday Water Color
Paint your own, unique water color to capture the changing seasons.

December 14-Marlene Kuser, Beaded Jewelry
Have fun creating your own beaded jewelry.
