Stormwater Management
Welcome to the Town of Lewisville Stormwater Division of the Public Works Department. The Stormwater Department provides comprehensive stormwater pollution management for Town’s residents and businesses as part of the Public Works Department. The program's two major elements are water quality protection through the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Phase II Permit Water Quality Act and Town's Stormwater Management and Watershed Protection Ordinance. The Town is required to operate a stormwater program under a permit issued by EPA's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) program mandated under the federal Clean Water Act which is overseen by the NC Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ).

- Public Education & Outreach
