A rare chance to learn stamp carving with an expert at a reduced cost to you!
Thanks to a grant from the Shallow Ford Foundation, registration fees are drastically reduced, making the net cost to you more affordable. In this workshop we will use the very easy Speedball's Speedy Carve 4x6 pink rubber plates, using linocut tools to carve out your own design. Then roll ink on the design and print by hand on test papers or directly onto greeting cards of your own. You can also cut the plate into smaller sizes and print with a large inkpad, as stamps.
Please indicate in the registration form if you would like to purchase one or two rubber plates. The instructor will have more plates on hand for a cash purchase in the workshop. All Akua inks, paper, and a large black inkpad are provided. Many 4x6 rubber plates are available for purchase.
Cost for the class is $15 for non-members and $10 for members.
