UPDATE: Town Prepares for Potential Winter Weather

UPDATE: In preparation for this weekend's impending winter weather, snow removal crews will report in advance of the expected arrival of the storm and will be ready to start spreading salt when the storm arrives. Plowing will begin if there is significant accumulation.

Please remember all main and channel roads are maintained by the NC DOT and the Town of Lewisville maintains the neighborhood streets.

In the event of a power outage, please contact Duke Energy at 800-769-3866.

Jack Warren Park will be closed and will reopen when conditions are safe. Forsyth County will close all parks on Sunday at 6:00 a.m. until further notice.

If you need to report a non emergency concern, please contact Public Works Director, Ryan Moser at 336-945-1020. Please leave a detailed message and your call will be returned as soon as possible. Town Staff is on call and prepared to do all possible to keep our residents safe and informed.

Monday's trash and recycle collection may face possible delays or interruptions in service. Please visit our Facebook page and website for updates throughout the weekend.

Please ensure cars are not parked in the roadways as this will prevent snow removal crews from clearing the area and could present a safety hazard.

As the winter weather approaches, the Lewisville Fire Department will have adequate personnel and apparatus ready to respond to any call for service. If you have an emergency, call 911. If you need assistance in an non emergency (downed trees, etc.) please contact the station directly at 336-945-5983. Please do not drive unless it is absolutely necessary. Both the Lewisville Fire Department and Vienna Fire Department are here to help. Please stay safe.
