Due to dangerous road conditions for large trucks, Waste Management has added suspended service for Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
Waste Management spokesperson Marilyn Wells wrote in an email to the Town,
"We apologize for the delay, but our #1 priority is safety…... Knowingly putting large trucks on icy roads is not in anyone’s interest and we truly care about the safety of our friends and residents in the community and our drivers."
In addition, Waste Management is drafting a recovery plan for services and will be communicating that with Town officials as soon as possible.
