Have you struggled to represent your artwork in the digital world? As an artist, submitting high quality photos when applying for exhibits and art shows is vital for success.
In this hands-on workshop, AAWS Member Karen Vohs will provide lights and display space for each participant to photograph their own artwork. She will also demonstrate techniques for:
- Creating high quality images of your work
- Learning techniques for setting up and lighting your artwork at home
Karen will also speak about the best way to manage your photos, how to know what size photo you are working with, and how to know what size photo to submit when applying for shows. She will also demonstrate how to use free editing apps such as Lightroom Mobile and Snapseed (both apps are available for iPhone and Android).
Students should bring 1-2 pieces of artwork to photograph with their mobile phone.
Cost for the class is $35 for Members of Associated Artists of Winston-Salem and $50 for non-members.
