Mixed Media Landscapes

This class will explore a variety of mediums in combination, several unique and suitable substrates to create mixed media landscapes. Some instruction will be offered for each mediums, balanced with individual freedom for each student to explore and experiment, layer and build, as they create beautiful and mystical landscapes.

Students supply: drawing pencils (2H, F or HB, 3B), erasers (kneaded, "pink pearl”), colored pencils (softcore artist grade, such as Prismacolor, Derwent, etc.). Optional mediums as well: pastels, watercolors, gauche paints).

*Class provided supplies: all papers, canvases, board substrates, paints, brushes, pen and ink supplies, charcoal, fixatives, mediums for collage options.
