CLASS IS FREE! Learn essential sewing skills to craft handmade items for babies in this 4-part series by Newborns in Need. No sewing experience required, though basic ability to operate a sewing machine is helpful. Each class focuses on a specific baby essential, providing step-by-step instruction and hands-on practice with creation of 4 handmade items. All materials provided. This class is suited for adults and seniors but can be for ages 12-adults.

Session 1: Burp cloths and bibs: Learn how to craft soft and absorbent burp cloths, perfect for keeping messes at bay during feeding times, and master the art of making adorable and functional bibs.

Session 2: Self-Binding Receiving Blanket: Discover the beauty of creating self-binding receiving blankets, combining comfort and convenience in one delightful package.

Session 3: Front and Back Strip Blanket: Dive into the world of strip quilts, a versatile and cozy accessory ideal for swaddling or snuggling. You will sew the front and back of the blanket simultaneously, which is a big time saver!

Session 4: Strip Blanket Binding: Learn how to create and attach binding to your strip blanket, adding a polished finish to your project.

If you have your own sewing machine please bring it. We have a few that can be provided if you do not have one.
