Mural Unveiling Reception

Join us for the mural unveiling and a meet & greet with the artist, Missy Pardue, at the Mary Alice Warren Community Center on Friday, May 16, from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. !

About the Mural: The mural will represent the Yadkin River and the history of the Shallow Ford. This piece will also feature historical figures and locations from Lewisville’s rich past, with a pop of color in the native flowers. This is a river table wood panel made from wood and blue epoxy resin with acrylic painted imagery.

About the Artist: Missy Pardue is a Yadkin County resident with a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree from Wingate University. She has taught art for nearly 22 years in both Hamptonville and Yadkin County. Her work can be seen in the Animal Hospital of Lewisville and the Starmount Middle School. She also has experience in set design for the Yadkin Arts Theater.
