Overview
Shallowford Square is home to a new playground!
This playground is even larger than the previous structure, with a total of 5,000-square-feet of play space. It is also more inclusive, designed for players with a range of abilities and of different ages. Part of the design includes a long sloping pathway, which isbe wheelchair accessible.
The new swing set is near the playground structure, replacing the previous one, and includes more swings than previously.
There are more interactive features, such as new spinning Tic-Tac-Toe panels, rock climbing, and spinning gears. Two large canopies will cover either end of the playground, providing shade.
More fun to come! A shade canopy will be installed as part of the playground and will provide a cooler area for families.
